Dazu Rock Carvings Museum, a national first-class museum, is located at No. 7, Beishan Road, Longgang Street, Dazu District, Chongqing, with an area of 58.5 hectares and a building area of 18000 square meters. It is a special museum of art stone carving art.
Dazu Rock Carvings Museum mainly displays Beishan Grottoes, Baodingshan Grottoes, Shimenshan Grottoes, Nanshan Grottoes, etc. [3] As of the end of 2019, there were a total of 614 items/sets in the collection.
In December 1999, Dazu Rock Carvings were included in the The World Heritage List.
In 2020, Dazu Rock Carvings Museum was rated as the "fourth batch of national first-class museums".

Nanshan, formerly known as Guanghua Mountain, is about 2 kilometers south of Dazu City.

Beishan Stone Carvings
The Beishan Stone Carvings are located on Beishan, 1.5 kilometers north of Dazu City. Excavated in the first year of Jingfu in the late Tang Dynasty (892), it took five dynasties, two Song dynasties, Ming and Qing dynasties to reach its current scale.
