Liu Ping, the descendant of Mr. Fu Zhi, known as the "Father of Chinese Cotton Tree", is the guardian of Chinese Cotton Tree. Since the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, Liu Pingzu has been making a living through dyeing, weaving, and embroidery techniques, inheriting over 100 plant dyeing formulas and unique dyeing, weaving, and embroidery techniques. After nearly 20 years of continuous skill search, cultivation, and experimentation, Liu Ping has found more than 80 high-quality dyeing materials and flowers, and restored more than 200 traditional Chinese color plant dyeing formulas. A complete collection of dyeing and embroidery culture has been formed by comparing the chromatographic composition, pigment sources and extraction, and techniques with those from around the world during the same period, which has great value for inheritance and research. We have offered graduate courses including plant dyeing, handmade weaving, handmade weaving art, pattern design, and more.
