The wishing tree consists of two yellow ash trees, one big and another small, resembling a 'mother and son connected'. It is said that small trees are even older than large trees, with a tree age of over 300 years. After the wishing tree took root and sprouted, many talented scholars emerged in Changhong Village, so this tree is also known as the "Scholar Tree", and this land is also regarded as a "blessed land" by the locals. The large wishing tree branches are lush with leaves, and local villagers often rest under the tree to cool off or pray for a better life.
